She directed the Center for Handicapped Children and Teenagers in San Francisco, a nonprofit center for 23 years. The Center was a magnet for children with disabilities and their families who came from all over the United States, as well as abroad, to seek her special medical acumen on a consultative basis. The Center closed September 30, 2004.
